About this piece

A serene, stylized woodland landscape featuring mature trees rendered in pale relief against a richly textured brown ground. Kaufman’s simplified forms and strong contrasts give the composition a distinctly modern, Japanese-influenced character. Titled “Tree Scene,” the print is hand-signed in pencil and numbered 72 from an edition of 300.
